MINISTRIES
Ministry is primarily about bringing people into an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. It is about helping every disciple of Jesus Christ find the grace of God to continue to pursue God's very best for their life. Ministry is about being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to a world that is desperate for Hope and Love. That is exactly what we are striving to do in every ministry of our church. We want people to see Jesus.
Kid's Ministry
The Kid's Ministry at BLCC is extremely important to us. God told his people in Deuteronomy 6:6-7 - These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. And you are to impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Our desire is to invest into the next generation the truth of God's Word.
The teen years can be the very best years, because it is in these years that a tremendous amount of spiritual formation can take place. It is such a great delight to give teenagers an opportunity to discover their spiritual gifts, and then help them practice that gift within the context of the local church.
Small Groups
Small groups are essential at BLCC, because we find in small groups we are able to develop close relationships for prayer, encouragement, confession, accountability, and fellowship.
Praise and Worship
Praise and worship are a key part of our ministry at BLCC. Psalms 150:3-6 - Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD. It is our desire to lead people into real worship of the one, true and living God.
Pastoral Support
Pastoral support is not simply something that happens on Sunday. The pastors of BLCC are available to the church body to help them find God's wisdom, peace, joy, guidance.
Service Opportunities
The Bible teaches that every believer has been gifted for service to the LORD. So, we do our best to encourage every member of BLCC to find their niche, and then to get active in their faith.
