Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and worship on such a beautiful day as we gathered for our last Service in the Park for the year.

Truly a blessed day as we also celebrated baptisms, enjoyed a great picnic and had some fun with our college and career fundraiser.

Cheers to another beautiful summer of services in the park spent celebrating our Lord with family and friends.

Congratulations to Flossie VanAvery, Eric Douglas and Heather Doublas -- we rejoice with you!

Four times a year we celebrate the youth of our church by allowing them to minister to us in our morning worship service. It is such a huge blessing to see so many teenagers using their talents and gifts for the Lord. Our Youth Sunday on June 23

featured our youth praise team, several special music numbers by teenagers, and youth produced videos. The highlight of the morning was hearing messages from two high school graduates, Travis Caughey and Jesse Pycraft.

We had our fifth annual hayride on Saturday, October 13. The weather was completely different from last year when it was 72 degrees and sunny – this year it was 40 degrees with a chance a rain. However, the rain held off and we had a great

time riding on the wagons, picking apples and making smores at the campfire. A big "thank you" should go out to Kim and Bruce Macy for all their help putting this even together. We had a blast!

08.04.12 | Just Because Car Wash

On Saturday, August 4 we had our first "Just Because" Car Wash at White Lake Nursery in Whitehall. There are very few things in this life that are really FREE – usually there is a string attached somewhere. Companies want your address or phone number…someone wants to sell you a timeshare… someone wants you to vote for them…or they want you to buy something from them at a later time. Whatever the case FREE is rarely FREE! That is why we wanted to have a FREE car wash,

because we wanted to illustrate the absolute FREE offer of Jesus. Jesus said "Come to me, all you who are weary and carry heavy burdens and I will give you rest." His offer is completely free. Twenty-five people helped wash twenty-three cars in two hours. It was so much fun and when people asked why we were having a free car wash it was a delight to tell them "It is because we wanted people to know that God has an absolute free offer for them."
